Exciting Event at Maples!

Wanted to share some great info with you on an exciting event that will be taking place at Maples! We are so thrilled to be hosting such an event - I think you will find it exciting as well.  Please see attachment to this note.  Thank you Katie.... 
On Thursday, October 17, students from Wegienka Elementary in Brownstown will travel up to Maples Elementary in East Dearborn for a full-day presentation by the unique New York-based ensemble Classical Jam.  Classical Jam visited Maples Elementary last October during a time when they were unable to return to their hometown of New York during hurricane Sandy, and had a free day. The visit turned into a memorable encounter when CJ members led a jam session with the school’s Arabic Music Ensemble.
