Electricity

When the winds blow the power goes out.  The electrical lines are historic.  They just patch and pray.  We have had two fires in our area and both are connect to DTE.  Understandably, when a storm occurs, things happen.  But in this instance, it is the same wire and transformer-out for four days.  When you look at the wires and insulators, they appear 1928ish, the age of some of the homes.  Edison sends in patch crews and do a temporary fix until the next windy day.  When they took out the alleys, they should have buried the wires and nixed the poles that seem to be rotting.  My suggestion is to do it right and replace the antiquity....The phone lines and cable wires look like spaghetti.
