AAUW Speech Trek Contest Deadline Extended

Students attending Dearborn High, Edsel Ford, and Fordson  still have a chance to enter the Dearborn AAUW SpeechTrek 2014 Contest.  The new registration deadline is Wednesday, February 12,2014. The speech topic is "Women at the Top:  Why so Few?" The goal is to have students prepare and present their original view on the topic in a five minute speech before a panel of local judges on February 26, 2014.   Cash prizes will be awarded and the first place speech will advance to the state level.
