5 Things to Know About The Arc Dearborn’s Annual Charity Golf Outing

Proceeds from the Sept. 27 fundraiser will help support programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Arc Dearborn, which serves Metro Detroit residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host a charity golf outing fundraiser on Sept. 27.

Before heading to the green, here are five things you should know:

1. Where and when will the golf outing take place?

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Lakes of Taylor golf course, 25505 Northline Road in Taylor.

2. How do I register my team?

3. How much does it cost to participate?

The cost is $130 per golfer and includes a steak, chicken or fish dinner. Participants can also attend the dinner only for $40.

4. What can I expect at the fundraiser?

Golfers will enjoy a shotgun start at 9 a.m., along with an 18-hole scramble, hot dog lunch, three-hour open bar and an auction and prizes.

5. Can I sponsor a hole?

Sponsors are needed for the fundraiser dinner, 19th hole sponsorship, refreshments, hole-in-one prize, hole sponsors, and closest to the pin sponsor. For more information, visit http://www.thearcdearborn.org/.
