This fall experience the health benefits of Tai Chi Easy.
Tai Chi Easy was created by reviewing the most popular and beneficial forms of Tai Chi to come up with a set of practices that are easy to teach and learn. These practices can be divided into 4 groups: gentle movement, breathing exercises, self-applied massage, and relaxation methods.
This compilation of practices is called the Vitality Enhancement Method. In addition, the Tai Chi Easy program includes a modification of traditional Tai Chi. Five movements from Yang Style Tai Chi are used and can be done sitting or standing.
Some of the health benefits of Tai Chi Easy include stress relief, improved balance, lower blood pressure and improved immune function.
I will be offering a class in the Dearborn Good Shepherd United Methodist Church Activities Room Tuesdays at noon from Oct 16 - Nov. 20 (no class Nov. 6). No special clothes or equipment needed. Dress in something comfortable that allows movement.
