If you’re looking for some great bargains, Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church invites you to attend its bi-annual Rummage Sale.

There will be an “early bird” pre-sale from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, August 24 with an entrance of five dollars per person.  There is no charge to attend the rummage sale during the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 24, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2012.

Items for sale include clothing for all ages, toys, potpourri items, jewelry, linens, books, working small appliances, hardware, tools, furniture and household items.  Fresh baked goods will also be available for purchase, and visitors are invited to bid on special items in a Silent Auction.

The church is also accepting donated items through Sunday, August 19.  No computers or televisions will be accepted or sold during the sale.

Proceeds from the Rummage Sale go to the programs and mission of Cherry Hill Presbyterian.

Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church was founded in 1942 as a mission church. Located at the corner of Cherry Hill and Telegraph Road, the chapel was dedicated in 1948, and the sanctuary in 1958. A member of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., the church also houses the Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church Cooperative Preschool for 3- and 4-year-old children. The Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center is located at the east end of the church. Jointly sponsored by several local churches and service organizations, the center offers affordable counseling to individuals and groups, regardless of religious beliefs or affiliations.
