The Great Lakes Council for the Boy Scouts of America will host the Muslim and Arab American Summit on Scouting. The purpose of the event is to promote the scouting program to community leaders and to help form scouting units within the community.
Bob Mazzuca, CEO of the Boy Scouts of America, will speak at the summit.
Mazzuca has served as CEO since 2007, and has received the Catholic Church's St. George Award, the Allah-o-Akber award from the National Islamic Committee on Scouting, and the Rotary International Cliff Dochtermann Award.
The event is free and open to the public.

More About Lebanese American Heritage Club
Having been apart of the Dearborn community since 1982, the Lebanese American Heritage Club is staple in the area, providing athletic, cultural and social programs for its Arab-American members. The center is focused on creating a positive environment, especially when it comes to its youth, through student scholarships and events to help build a platform for them to grow on. The center has several programs and monthly events that can be found on its website.
