DESCRIPTION:The following HFCC music groups will perform at this year's S
 pring Band Concert:\n\nMetropolitan Symphony Band:  The largest communit
 y college concert band in Michigan\, the Symphony  Band includes HFCC mu
 sic students\, advanced placement high school  students\, students from 
 neighboring universities and members of the  community.\nSymphonic Wind 
 Ensemble: Known as HFCC&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;instrumental honors group\,&rdq
 uo\; the Symphonic Wind  Ensemble features the top musicians from other 
 HFCC bands\, performing  challenging compositions.\n\nHFCC is  home to t
 he largest music program of all two-year colleges in Michigan.  The musi
 cians in HFCC ensembles represent a cross-section of HFCC&rsquo\;s  stud
 ent body. Music ensembles from HFCC have regularly toured and  performed
  at special events across the country and in Europe.\nThis  year chorist
 ers\, from the many outstanding choral ensembles at HFCC\,  will perform
  with the bands. They will perform a commissioned work  entitled &ldquo\
 ;Sing to the Lord a New Song&rdquo\; by Steven Errante and closing the  
 concert with &ldquo\;Battle Hymn of the Republic\,&rdquo\; arranged by P
 eter  Wilhousky. The bands will also play music by Robert Russell Bennet
 t\,  Karl King and other standard symphonic band pieces.\nGeneral  admis
 sion is $10 for adults\, $7 for students and senior citizens.  Tickets m
