Henry Ford Community College vocal music instructor G. Kevin Dewey will conduct Renaissance Voices at “A Festival of Lessons & Carols” on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, located at 120 N. Military in Dearborn.
This performance will feature carols, readings and congregational hymns in the tradition of King’s College in Cambridge, England. Additionally, harpist Christa Grix and organist Sean Jackman will also perform at “A Festival of Lessons & Carols.”
Renaissance Voices, a women’s ensemble choir based at HFCC, has performed the finest in treble choral literature, much of it a cappella. The choir has toured all over the United States, Europe and Canada, as well as released three CDs.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, $7 for students and seniors and will be available at the door. Please note that this evening of quiet readings and music is not recommended for small children. For further information, please call 313.317.6566 or visit www.renvoices.org.

More About Henry Ford Community College
Henry Ford Community College offers a vast array of two-year programs and continuing education classes, and is known for its culinary arts and nursing programs. Other students often begin their college careers at HFCC, where tuition is lower than average university costs, before transferring to another school.
HFCC, home of the Hawks, also takes in many high school students from the Dearborn Public Schools for dual enrollment, ensuring that DPS seniors can graduate with up to two years of college already completed. Many students are dual-enrolled through Henry Ford Early College.
