The Dearborn High Key Club, Dearborn Outer Drive Kiwanis, and ISR Demanufacturing are teaming up to allow electronics recycling at the high school.
Just in time for Earth Day, electonics can be brought to the DHS parking lot, where it will be donated to ISR, a local electronics recycling company. Those who donate will also be asked to give a suggested $5 donation to be put towards the Key Club fundraiser.
Half of all donations will go to support Dearborn's Relay for Life.
Just about anything with a plug can be donated, from alarm clocks to microwaves to coffee makers and even computers. Computer hard drives will be shredded.
Key Club and Kiwanis work on various projects throughout the year, including Relay for Life, Safety Town, the World Medical Relief organization and Gleaners Community Food Bank.
