More About Arab American National Museum
The Arab American National Museum, across the street from Dearborn's City Hall, is the first museum in the world devoted to Arab American history and culture; it's also the only affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution in southeastern Michigan. It hosts many cultural events, such as lectures, film festivals, diversity-training seminars and craft tutorials. The museum displays documents and art that celebrates the Arab American experience.

I toured the museum on Friday. What an experience! I highly recommend it. I'm not Arab American, but I found it fascinating! I will be back as there just wasn't time to experience it all. If you have't been, Go - and bring your kids or grandkids. It is a treat.
