Dear Goodfellows Friend:
Please mark Monday, November 19, 2012 on your calendar. The Dearborn Goodfellows will once again gather on the steps of City Hall for a group photograph at 11:30 am (sharp) that day, followed by our 2012 Kick-off Luncheon for our paper sale at noon. Lunch is at Park Place , 23400 Park Street at Outer Drive , just south of Michigan Avenue . We thank you for being a Goodfellow through your active support. Please join us for the photo, luncheon or both, as your calendar permits.
This event is a get-together for friends of the Goodfellows and for the many volunteers who will brave Michigan ’s December weather to raise money by selling Goodfellows Newspapers throughout Dearborn on Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1,2012.
Your participation will help us make sure that there will be “No Child Without a Christmas” in Dearborn .
Dearborn Goodfellows is a wholly volunteer group with no paid staff. Money raised goes to help needy Dearborn children 11 years of age or younger, especially at holiday time, and for special emergencies at any time. I look forward to seeing you on November 19th.

P.S. Those selling papers may pick them up at St. Martha’s Church, 18200 Oakwood (across from Oakwood Hospital ) we will be in the last two rooms at the back on the north side. Everyone will be able to enter at the back of the church and easily pick-up the papers and return the money there. Papers will be available on Thursday, November 29, 2012 (from 3 to 6 p.m.), Friday (starting at 7 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and Saturday (9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Also, packaging this year will be on Friday, December 21st starting at 6:00 pm and delivery on Saturday, December 22nd starting at 8:00 am.

City of Dearborn Public Works Department is a great establishment on Maple Street in Dearborn. The Public Works Department handles all Dearborn public works concerns, including block party permits, leaf collection, recycling, rubbish pick-up, snow plowing and salting, tree trimming, removal and planting and more.
