DESCRIPTION:First ever &ldquo\;Glow&rdquo\; project offers interactive ar
 t experience after dark in Dearborn\nTemporary art exhibit Friday\, Feb.
 \, 3\, 7-10 p.m.\nThe first ever Dearborn &ldquo\;Glow&rdquo\; project w
 ill light up an entire city corner in Dearborn on Friday\, Feb. 3\, from
  7 to 10 p.m. when more than 2\,000 glow sticks arranged in a pavilion d
 esign provide a creative\, interactive\, but temporary\, visual experien
 ce for visitors.&nbsp\;\nThe site for the project is on the corner of Mi
 chigan Ave. and Brady in west Dearborn adjacent to the Dearborn Historic
 al Museum\, a co-host for the project along with the Dearborn Community 
 Fund.&nbsp\;Visitors will be encouraged to walk through the &ldquo\;fiel
 d&rdquo\; and to move the glow sticks at will resulting in a constantly 
 changing pattern. Three sculptures\, part of Dearborn&rsquo\;s Midwest S
 culpture Initiative which continues through April\, are also featured on
  the site.\nThe Dearborn Historical Museum will be open to welcome visit
 ors. A children&rsquo\;s activity area\, light refreshments and museum t
 our will be available.\nThe idea for the project\, described as a &ldquo
 \;celestial field\,&rdquo\; originated with Dearborn resident Paolo Mast
 rogiacomo\, a University of Michigan graduate student in architecture\, 
 and his colleague Ariya Kelly.&nbsp\;\nIn addition to providing a unique
  experience\, they see the potential for this type of project to provide
  the community with an opportunity to stop\, play and become engaged whi
 le calling attention to the west Dearborn downtown and what it has to of
 fer.&nbsp\;\nMastrogiacomo and Kelly along with a group of volunteers in
 cluding designers\, artists and people from the community will install t
 he interactive display.\nThe project team hopes that this temporary inte
 ractive creative project will be the first of many and serve to encourag
 e other area artists to develop future projects.\nThe event is open to t
