DESCRIPTION:The Dearborn Community Chorus (DCC) will present its annual S
 pring Concert with the theme of &ldquo\;April Showers Us With Song&rdquo
 \; on Saturday\, April 28 at 7 p.m. in the Michael A. Guido Theater of t
 he Ford Community &amp\; Performing Arts Center (The Center).  Reserved 
 seat tickets for the concert are $11 and $8.\nThe chorus\, under the dir
 ection of Marcus LaPratt\, will perform a wide range of songs &ndash\; c
 lassical to popular &ndash\; featuring rain\, water\, and rivers. The se
 lections will include songs like:  Lazy River by Hoagy Carmichael\, At t
 he River by Aaron Copland\, and the Disney classic Under the Sea\, to na
 me a few.\nThe Dearborn Community Chorus\, established in 1969 by the De
 arborn Recreation Department\, welcomes all\, ages 16 and older\, who lo
 ve to sing.  The group rehearses weekly from September through April and
  presents two major performances at The Center in December and April.  D
 CC also performs for community events\, entertains at area senior facili
 ties\, and travels both locally and internationally.\nAnd in July\, DCC 
 will be participating in the 2012 World Choir Games\, the largest  choir
  competition in the world\, being held this year in Cincinnati\, Ohio.

 ay through Saturday.  The box office is also open one hour before show t
