Invite a friend
For those who enjoy good barbecue at a great price, Oakwood Common invites the public to join residents for its community barbecue held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Wednesday on its Bistro patio.
“We have a fantastic grill master who prepares a delicious selection of hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and brats,” said Mary Granata, Oakwood Common’s director of sales. “For five dollars and less, you can enjoy a complete lunch including chips, pop and watermelon with time to walk along the scenic pathways surrounding our campus.”
The weekly barbecues are scheduled to continue throughout the summer and early fall season as weather permits.
“People who visit our campus for the first time quickly realize that we’re a hidden jewel in the middle of Dearborn,” added Granata. “The community barbecues give us a chance to share it with others.”
