DESCRIPTION:The Detroit Historical Society&rsquo\;s popular weekly &ldquo
 \;Behind the Scenes&rdquo\; series\, sponsored by the DTE Energy Foundat
 ion\, continues with a special tour of the Model T Automotive Heritage C
 omplex on Saturday\, April 21.\nThe  Model T Automotive Heritage Complex
 \, or T-Plex for short\, tour takes  place in Detroit&rsquo\;s historic 
 Milwaukee Junction district - the emerging  automobile industry's centra
 l location after the turn of the 20th  century.&nbsp\; The complex\, loc
 ated just north of the Detroit Historical  Museum\, is the original home
  of the Model T.&nbsp\; Plans were drawn up by the  Detroit firm of Fiel
 d\, Hinchman &amp\; Smith.&nbsp\; The building was  completed in 1904\, 
 and its main entrance was located on Piquette  Avenue.&nbsp\; On this to
 ur\, guests will walk the factory floor where Henry  Ford experimented w
 ith the assembly line method of production\, as well  as see Ford&rsquo\
 ;s office and the secret Experimental Room where he created  the Model T
 .&nbsp\;\nThe  cost for the tour is $20 for Detroit Historical Society m
 embers and $30  for guests. Telephone reservations can be accepted Monda
 y through  Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are not sold the day of 
 the tour.  Those who register receive directions to the tour location\, 
 a map\, and  additional information in the mail one to two weeks prior t
