DESCRIPTION:Inkster-based Starfish Family Services (Starfish)\, a nonprof
 it organization dedicated to creating brighter futures for the children 
 of at-risk families in metropolitan Detroit\, will host its first annual
  fundraising event\, &ldquo\;An Evening for Starfish: Turning the Tide f
 or Children&rdquo\; on Thursday\, April 26 at The Henry in Dearborn.\nPr
 esented by PNC Bank\, the event will include a strolling dinner and enga
 ging activities aligned with Starfish&rsquo\;s goals of school readiness
  for the most vulnerable children in the community. Attendees will have 
 the chance to learn about the great work happening at Starfish and parti
 cipate in enchanting hands-on experiences that reflect Starfish&rsquo\;s
  work with vulnerable young children.\nThis year&rsquo\;s event will hon
 or the Ford Volunteer Corps with Starfish&rsquo\;s first annual Great He
 arts Award\, for their more than 20 years of support for Starfish childr
