NFP is just another choice that not all people know about with the aid of modern technology to help Read Morewith it, but if a person does not want to get pregnant then there are other contraceptives that are out there, that do not cause abortion, blood clots or cancer, but do help from getting pregnant in the first place, but like you said "needs a lot of self control" and it is that lack of self control that causes most unwanted pregnancies in the first place. For those who not believe in any contraceptives, NFP is an option.

Cardinal, anyone, and that includes average employees, can share in the benefits, and the risk, by Read Morepurchasing ownership via shares in a company. For example, Ford stock was at $3 per share 4 years or so ago. There was a risk that Ford would go bankrupt, just like GM and Chrysler, and those stocks became worthless when they did declare bankruptcy. Buying 100 shares of Ford, $300 dollars, is now worth around $1600 today, more than 5 times as much, a 500% gain, taxed of course by the govt since they expect their share of your good fortune, at 23.8% on capital gains, so , for taking that risk, and winning, the govt gets around $310, more than your original investment. Who took the risk? You did. Why does the govt get $310 for doing nothing? Because they make the tax code rules. The gas companies make six cents profit on every dollar of gas sold. They find, drill, refine, transport for that six cents of return. The govt gets 18 cents by making a tax rule, 3 times as much, yet do nothing , no risk. Don't like it? Talk to the govt.

em•pa•thy noun \ˈem-pə-thē\ : the feeling that you understand and share another person's Read Moreexperiences and emotions : the ability to share someone else's feelings com•pas•sion noun \kəm-ˈpa-shən\ : a feeling of wanting to help someone who is sick, hungry, in trouble, etc. : sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it Perhaps you can apply these attributes to the very young, disabled, and elderly, and make an effort to understand that outside problems can occur like losing a job, illness, no transportation, a death of the household supporter, a house burning down, and on and on. A good lesson to learn is to never "clump" people together because of a few who want or expect handouts. There are a lot of good, decent people in Detroit and the surrounding areas that just need help, and most people can't live on a $8.00 a hour job or in a city that has the highest unemployment rate because there are no job.

Joyce, when individuals help other individuals at a time of need, that is one kind of handout thatRead Moref eels good to do, when the govt takes over, takes our money and makes people dependent on handouts, that is totally a different matter. Regarding pay, how can employers pay more if the employees have no skills? Jobs need some task done, more complex tasks pay more per hour. Don't have any skills? Whose fault is that? Whose responsibility is that? Hint.....it isn't the employer's fault.

Lee, for the most part we are in agreement here except when it comes to employees having no skills. Read More Perhaps part of the no skill problem is the fault of schools that have teachers that don't teach, can't even pass the tests they give their students, and can't be fired because of unions, or fake tests scores so that schools can get more government funds, and a society that allows more kids to drop out of school then to graduate.. Then there are people who just do not have the mental faculties for higher education, or funds to pay for college tuition. I do agree with you that this is not the employer's fault and they shouldn't have to raise the minimum wage. Minimum wage jobs were never meant to be used as the only support of a family, but a stepping stone for teens to get a little experience of the work force, or for people with limited mental faculties. It is the fault of adults who rather do anything but educate themselves by reading articles like these, or watch the news, or don't want to take time to vote, or don't know who what they are voting for, or to become activists, or to insist on their kids doing their homework. The fault is part government, part union, part irresponsible adults and that leaves the young, the challenged or handicapped in a world where responsibility is not taught, BUT I still do believe we have a human obligation to help people in need and we should want to do whatever is necessary to help them. I am not naive, and there will always be a certain percentage of people who rather live on handouts rather then work, but I also know that there are a lot of people out there that are good people who never had a chance for a good education, and given the opportunity to grow.

Can the parents take the student tax credit of approximately $7300 and apply it to this school inRead Moreth e appropriate amount? If the school is accredited and approved as advertised, this should be no problem, right?
