Hey everyone, today I arrived in Tampa to a city that is in full swing for the republican national convention! I rode next to a delegate from Illinois on my flight from Chicago O'Hare and she had a huge bag of convention material that she read the entire flight! Where I'm going with this is that the enthusiasm of everyone arriving for Tampa is palpable in the air. No hurricane or cancellation of Monday's events are going to dampen the festive mood of the GOP. Volunteers and posters line Tampa international airport, delegates are interviewed by several camera crews as they enter, and convention is the first word out of everyone's mouth. The mission is clear it's time to fix the mistake of the last four years, and the convention is where the GOP will put forward the candidates and the policy to do so.
