Where in Dearborn is Stanley?
The Dearborn Animal Shelter's Mutt Strut spokes dog takes a stroll around the city with Dearborn Patch Editor Jessica Carreras.
The Dearborn Animal Shelter's annual Mutt Strut happens May 12, and mascot dog Stanley is a little out of shape.
To help him prepare for the walk–and to raise awareness about the Mutt Strut, which raises funds to help care for the shelter's many animals and find them homes–Dearborn Patch is taking Stanley around the city of Dearborn.
This week, we Stanley got a little hungry, so we took him to a Dearborn store where he found some treats that caught his eye. Afterward, he visited with some animals who were there waiting to be taken home by new families. Check out our photo–can you tell where he went?
Tell us in the comments. Then, go learn more about the Mutt Strut at www.dearbornmuttstrut.com and help the shelter raise $60,000 for animals in need.
Participating in the Mutt Strut? Tell our readers who you're strutting for–and help raise funds for the cause–by posting an announcement on our site!
