What Would You Like to See in the Hyatt Rotunda Room?

Dearborn has a vacant building up for lease. What business do you think should move in?

Once a restaurant, the Hyatt Regency Hotel Rotunda Room has been used primarily as an upscale wedding locale in recent years.

But now, the prime spot–known for the fact that it gives a rotating 360-degree view of Dearborn and the surrounding area–is back on the market.

The 5,200 square foot space sits atop the 14-story hotel, and arguably offers the best view in Dearborn. The space is available for lease, being shown by Southfield-based real estate company CBRE.

What we want to know is: What would you like to see open in this space?

A posh sushi spot? A piano bar? A new restaurant?

You tell us, Dearborn.

Now that Matt Prentence has left that company that carried his name sake maybe he would be interested in starting a new venture by leasing the top of the Hyatt. Something similar to Coach at the top of the Ren Cen.

A posh sushi spot or cool jazz lounge would be pretty awesome! I loved that place when I lived in MI and was disappointed to find it was no longer open.
