For Dearborn's City Beautiful Commission, the Dearborn Aglow holiday award isn't just about how many inflatable Santas you can fit in your front yard, or if you're home is so bright it can be seen from space. It's about style, sophistication and pride in your home.

City Beautiful Commissioner Debbie Clark–an eight-year commission member and previous winner of Dearborn Aglow–took Dearborn Patch on a tour of her neighborhood for the annual judging this week to give an inside look at the process of how homes are chosen, and what it takes to be given the coveted title of Hall of Famer.

The Dearborn Aglow ceremony will be held in January at Dearborn City Hall.

Everyone doesn't have to do the "Martha Stewart" cookie cutter mentality to have a unique Holiday display." Chevy Chase" decorations have a following also. Just ask the dozens of people who visit our home every night and sit out front to watch the animated display change with the music.
