Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2 had already sold $25 million in advanced tickets before the midnight premiere on Thursday.

At The Henry Ford Museum's IMAX Theater Thursday night in Dearborn, the excitement was palpable, with fans dressed as anything from Rubeus Hagrid to the Golden Snitch. Some–including a Dearborn High graduate–waited in line for as long as 17 hours to see the film.

The Harry Potter premiere weekend fun continues at The Henry Ford Friday and Saturday, with Muggle Quidditch tournaments and live owls.
