Ready to start your day? Here's what you need to know.
1. The threat of rain will continue today, says the National Weather Service–but it may remain just a threat. The high temp will hit just below 70 degrees, and a 30 percent chance of rain will linger most of the day, becoming partly cloudy later on.
2. The Glass Academy will host another of its Coffee Nights tonight from 6-9 p.m. Enjoy a free cup of coffee and a glassblowing demonstration as you unwind from your day.
3. Check the traffic for your commute with the new Dearborn Patch Real-Time Traffic Map. This interactive map lets you see construction, traffic flow and accidents around town, courtesy of Patch's partnership with Mapquest.
4. Don't forget to order your 2012 Dearborn City Calendar! Orders are being taken until Nov. 4. To find out how to get yours, visit our information page on city calendars.
5. In honor of Dearborn's automotive heritage, we bring you Ford Facts. Today's Ford Fact: Ford Motor Company was honored Monday for giving a $25,000 grant to Dearborn Public Schools. The money was used to improve the Michael Berry Career Center's computer lab.
