1. After a little bit of morning fog today, it's mostly clear, sunny skies all weekend for Dearborn, says the National Weather Service. Expect highs in the mid 70s. Get out an enjoy summer while it's still here!

2. Stop by the Dearborn Farmers Market today to see the finished apple–designed by the Pockets of Perception Design Team as part of the MI Apple Trail project. These high schoolers worked hard, and now they need us to vote for their apple!

3. Rep. George Darany will be holding constituent hours at the Dearborn Senior Center today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The center is located inside of the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, and attendance is free for Dearborn residents who wish to speak with Darany.

4. Also available at the Dearborn Senior Center (at the same time, no less) Oakwood Hospital is hosting "Ask the Nurse." Free health and blood-pressure checks will be available for visitors.

5. In honor of Dearborn's automotive heritage, we bring you Ford Facts. Today's fact: Ford Motor Company began producing EcoBoost engines in 2009, which are an integral part of their hybrid offerings. They boast higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
