Third Snow Day of Season Called for Dearborn Public Schools
A decision on after-school activities and adult education classes will be announced later today.
Dearborn Public Schools will be closed Wednesday due to a snowstorm that dropped nearly half a foot of snow on the region and continues to fall Wednesday morning.
The district announced the closing at 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Looney Tunes. It's wet and heavy but 4" max - and melting - on the roads and concrete. How many people get the day off work? What are you teaching these kids?

The side roads were awful. We are talking about kid's safety, not a teacher's day off. When all of the surrounding districts are calling a snow day(safety day), how and why should Dearborn remain open? Dearborn and the surrounding districts were correct in keeping our youngsters home..........

I agree. Though most of this was slush, there was no telling whether all this would freeze at anytime during the day. Best to just shut er' down and start again the next day.
