The major steel producer will be hiring 2013 interns across all its departments.

Severstal North America, one of the largest U.S. steel producers and a subsidiary of OAO Severstal, an international steel and mining company, this week announced the start of recruitment for its summer internship program at its Dearborn location.

With paid internships offered in engineering, material science, computer science, accounting and finance, safety, marketing, supply chain management, communications, and human resources, the company is looking to attract a variety of qualified students.

“We are pleased to continue Severstal North America’s exceptional internship program this year," Olga Filatova, vice president of Human Resources, said in a statement. "We are hoping to attract the best and the brightest college students to expose them to the international steel industry and give them valuable hands-on experience.”
