Police Investigating Man's Death as a Homicide
Hassan Jaber, 45, was found dead inside his Dearborn home in the 6200 block of Williamson Street on Sunday. Police are asking for the public's help in their investigation.
A 45-year-old Dearborn man was found dead in his home in the 6200 block of Williamson Street at about 8 p.m. Sunday, according to Dearborn police.
According to the Detroit Free Press, neighbor Hussein Wazne found Hassan Jaber dead in his bedroom Sunday. Wazne said he had stopped by to find out why Jaber–a construction worker–hadn't finished the job Wazne had hired him to do.
Police are investigating the death of Jaber as a homicide. While police believe foul play was involved, the cause of death remains unknown.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to conduct an autopsy on Monday.
Police Chief Ronald Haddad is asking for the public's help.
“The Dearborn Police will leave no stone unturned in this matter and I’m requesting anyone with any information in this incident to please contact the Dearborn Police Department," he said in a written statement.

While the two share the same name, a spokesperson for ACCESS said the victim is the not the Hassan Jaber who is the executive director of the Dearborn nonprofit.
