Photo Gallery: Maker Faire 2011

Hundreds came out to The Henry Ford for the second annual metro Detroit event on Saturday and Sunday.

The second annual Maker Faire rolled into parking lot and museum on Saturday and Sunday, attracting thousands of visitors from around the state and beyond to see innovation in action.

The Dearborn event is one of several held nationwide, but is the only one in Michigan. It allows dozens of inventors, tinkerers, scientists and performers to show off their creations to eager audiences young and old.

Several were present, including a 3-D photographer and ham radio enthusiast.
