Pedestrian Hit, Killed Crossing Miller Road in Dearborn
WDIV reports that the driver did stop for the accident.
Update, 10 a.m. Jan. 11: Dearborn police have confirmed that a 33-year-old Dearborn man was hit by a vehicle while crossing Miller Road, south of Alber Street, at 6:05 p.m. Thursday.
The Ford Winstar that hit him was driven by a 21-year-old Ypsilanti woman.
The man was taken to Oakwood Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation is continuing; however, the department said in a statement that "it appears at this time that the collision was accidental and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved."

A pedestrian crossing Miller Road beween Ford Road and Michigan Avenue was hit and killed Thursday evening.
According to WDIV, the man was 37 years old, and was deaf and mute. Dearborn police have not released his name, but some family members did respond to the scene.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the car that hit the man did stop, and was reportedly on the scene when police arrived.
