HYPE has a great program, but its in Dearborn Heights. Dearborn Performing Arts Center is best in town for the money.

Dearborn Performing Arts Center
The place is clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing and reasonable in price. If you do not play tennis, racketball or use a sauna, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and ressponsive and the people who go there are very nice. If you can pick your times in the a.m. or early afternoon, it is not crowded. The pool and swimming area are used for laps, diving, whirlpool and resistance. Kids have a wonderful, safe place to play and splash

NOT the Dearborn Performing arts center! During the summer, they have almost no lap time in the pool for adults. The staff is rude, they don't answer the phone, they argue with you, they rarely help you figure out the machines. We're dropping our membership today.
