Does anyone have pictures of the old Woodworth House restaurant on Michigan Ave? I loved that place. I believe it dated back to the 1800's...it was truly special. It sat where the Burger King is now located, on the north side of Michigan Ave. and just west of Fairlane Ford.

Surprise! Another one bites the dust! And this was not a small, one-location, under-funded operation.

Fortunately I feel immensely confident that the new City Hall will brings countless numbers of new people & businesses rushing into Dearborn to gaze upon the wonderful accomplishments of our current administration.

We gave this place several chances despite the fact that the food was average but they still charged "big city" prices. We never got good service in there. In fact, the last time we tried to give them another chance, we were told by the hostess, "someone will be right with you." We waited 10 minutes and during that time, we were told "someone will be right with you." It was a slow Tuesday night, but nobody ever sat us.

I'm not happy to see it go, but it is not unexpected.

That's what I don't understand about this Patch. If it was bought by someone else, why don't you say that in the article? Instead, you leave us thinking they just closed the restaurant and nothing else is going in there. Did the sale go through or is it indeed, closed and empty? BTW. I don't remember reading anything about the sale in this Patch either. I read about it in Deep Said What. Perhaps I'll go there to find the answer to my question.

Bitsy, Patch is like all of us, imperfect in some way, except for Axxel who must have a crush on Henry Ford in his next life..... so Patch can only surmise as to what will happen and what will be , just like the rest of us. Remember when we saw someone do something dumb, like wreck a stolen car on TV, yet the driver, obviously guilty, is only allegedly guilty until proven in a court of law. Ditto for opinions on the Fate of Chelios, perhaps it will become a deluxe Subway. That is known as speculation, assumptions, suppositions, all subject to change and another way of simply 'guessing'.

Yeah it sold to the le cigar owner. It will be a arab nightclub/hookah bar. I think that is bullshit. Also for the how we had poor service comment yeah okay sure. I worked there and the waitstaff and management were great and treat u like family dat in and day out.
