Biggby Coffee is adding another candle on the cake, celebrating its 17th birthday on Thursday, March 15.

In honor of the milestone, customers who are signed up for the company's free weekly email will receive a coupon for a 99-cent drink, good for March 15 only.

The coupon applies to any tall, hot or iced, sweet and creamy latte. Upgrades and larger size drinks will be available for a reduced cost as well.

“We love celebrating our birthday by honoring our customers and thanking them for their loyalty and support over the years,” Bob Fish, CEO and co-founder, said. “Some of them have been with us since the beginning and we want to say thank you, as well as welcome those who have just recently discovered BIGGBY.”

In 1995, co-founders Bob Fish and Mary Roszel, opened the very first Biggby location in East Lansing, Mich. Today, the chain has more than 140 stores open or under contract in seven states.

“Along with our customers, our success has come from the incredible franchise family we have built along the way and this birthday celebration highlights them for all the great work they do,” Fish said. “As we enter our eighteenth year of business we raise our coffee cups to them and look forward to fun, excitement and continued success the next 18 years will bring."

The Dearborn Biggby is located at 22445 Michigan Ave., and is open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. on Thursday.
