1. CHARITY WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL GAME
Where/When: Edsel Ford High School, main gym; Friday, 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Give back a little. Attending the charity basketball game will help support Dearborn police and firefighter charities. Staff, students, police officers, firefighters and professional wheelchair basketball players will compete in order to raise money.

2. MOTOWN MAGIC
Where/When: Ford Community and Performing Arts Center; Friday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: To celebrate the brilliance of Motown music from the 1960s and '70s, including tributes to the sounds of The Four Tops, The Temptations and Diana Ross and The Supremes.

3. PREMIER DESIGN JEWELRY BY ANGIE REYES-CORIC
Where/When: The Biergarten; Sunday, 3-6 p.m.
Why Go: Place an order at this showing of unique jewelry by a local artist and be entered to win a free piece.

Where/When: Fr. Patrick O'Kelley Knights of Columbus, 23663 Park Street; Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go: To help raise money for The Dearborn Animal Shelter. The Western-themed event includes games of Bingo, Black Jack, Texas Hold 'Em and Let It Ride. There will also be 50/50 raffles, open bar, food buffet, live entertainment and hourly door prizes.

5. OPEN SKATING
Where/When: Dearborn Ice Skating Center; Saturday, 1-2:20 p.m. and 5:30-6:50 p.m.; Sunday, 3-4:20 p.m. Monday, 11:00 a.m.-12:50 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.-5:20
Why Go: Physical fitness and fun in one activity! On Monday, take advantage of a day of school closure by spending some time gliding across the ice with friends and family.
