Noticeably absent from Dearborn's summer scene? Places to go for a cool, icy treat.

Cold Stone on Michigan Avenue closed in 2011, while Stucci's on Telegraph Road shut its doors in February of this year.

But it appears a new, relatively unknown player is coming to town–Yogurtown, that is.

On Michigan Avenue, nestled just west of Frida Mexican Restaurant, signs proclaim that Yogurtown will open soon in the west downtown strip.

The shop will sell frozen yogurt, though it's not clear when it will open.

Will you stop by to try it out?

Parking has nothing to do with failed businesses... You're ignorant if you think that. (or cheap)

Fortunately, Yogurtown has 18 free parking spots directly behind it for customers.

Does the ice cream shop have a bike rack? Do bikes park free or what? Have to work off the ice cream / yogurt one way or another.

Any free parking in front, on Michigan Ave? If not, they will be gone in the fall......
