Football Update: Fordson, DC, Edsel Sweep; Dearborn Struggles in Second Week
Here's a look at how Dearborn's four varsity football teams fared in their second games of the 2012 season.
It's been a rough start to the 2012 varsity football season for Dearborn High School.
After losing their Aug. 24 opener to Clinton Township's Chippewa Valley, the Pioneers again took a loss on Friday at Dearborn Heights Robichaud in a difficult 28-21 decision.
Meanwhile, Dearborn's three other prep football teams continued their first-week winning momentum. Divine Child ousted Inkster, 37-12, on Thursday; Edsel Ford edged Garden City, 21-12, on Friday; and Fordson trounced Redford Thurston in a 35-14 victory on Thursday.
