Fire broke out at Sisson Manor senior apartments in Dearborn on Tuesday evening.

Dearborn firefighters quickly extinguished a kitchen fire on the fourth floor of Sisson Manor on 1515 Mason Street on Tuesday evening.
Dearborn police officers and firefighters worked to evacuate the building until the fire was put out.
Residents of the building stayed in the lobby until smoke was cleared from the floors.
One person was taken to the hospital for observation.
