Family Announces Funeral Plans for Bob Cipriano
The Farmington Hills resident was killed during an attack in his home early Monday.
The family announced in a statement issued Friday afternoon through Botsford Hospital that visitation will be held April 23 and April 24 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home in Farmington Hills.
The family wrote they are "grateful for the abundance of love, support, and prayers from their community." The statement indicated that while Bob's wife Rosemary, 51, and son Salvatore, 17, continue to show improvement, they remain in critical condition.
"With your prayers and the help of the doctors and staff at Botsford Hospital, we are optimistic that they will recover," the statement read. "We are grateful that the media, in cooperation with law enforcement, continue to honor the family's request for privacy in this gravest of times."
Salvatore's twin brother, Tanner, and 8-year-old sister, Isabella, were not injured in the attack. The Ciprianos' son Tucker, 19, and his friend Mitchell Young, 20, faces five felony charges in connection with the murder and assaults.
A trust fund has been set up to help the family. Donations can be made to "Cipriano Childrens Trust" in care of McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 West Twelve Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.
