Falcons Fired Up for Football Showdown Vs. Country Day

Channel 4's Friday Football Frenzy visited Divine Child before the Falcons' big game against Detroit Country Day.

 

Are you ready for some football?

The students at Divine Child High School were Friday morning when Channel 4’s Friday Football Frenzy visited the school to hype the Falcons’ football game against Detroit Country Day.

WDIV-TV’s Ashlee Baracy interviewed Falcons coach Steve Robb before cameras panned out to the student body. Divine Child posted photos of the Football Frenzy visit to the school’s Facebook page.

Divine Child, which is 2-1 overall, hosts Detroit Country Day on Friday at 7 p.m. Country Day also is 2-1.

Dearborn’s other high school football teams also will be in action this weekend.
Edsel Ford (2-1 overall record) plays at Dearborn High (1-2) at 7 p.m. Friday as they renew their cross-town rivalry in the Pioneer-Thunderbird Spirit Bowl.

Meanwhile, Fordson attempts to bounce back from its first loss of the season when the Tractors play at Belleville at 7 p.m. Friday. Fordson and Belleville both have 2-1 records.
