Divine Child Baseball Advances to State Semifinals
Divine Child knocks off defending state champion St. Clair in a Division 2 quarterfinal high school baseball game.
The Divine Child baseball team is headed to Battle Creek.
Divine Child defeated St. Clair 5-2 in a Division 2 state quarterfinal baseball game on Tuesday at Novi High School, according to the MHSAA.
With the victory, Divine Child improves its record to 17-11 overall and advances to a state semifinal matchup against Grand Rapids Christian on Friday at 3 p.m. at Battle Creek.
On Tuesday, Divine Child knocked off the defending state champions in St. Clair.
Now, Divine Child will look to win its fifth state title since 2004. The Falcons won state crowns in 2004, ‘05, ‘08 and ‘10.
