Dearborn Police Urge Awareness in Wake of Burglaries
“I’m just asking our residents to be proactive and notify police if they witness any suspicious activity," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a Nixle alert.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad emphasized that the alert was just a precautionary measure.
“I don’t want to cause any alarm and there is no specific part of town being referenced,” Haddad said in the release. “I’m just asking our residents to be proactive and notify police if they witness any suspicious activity.”
Residents can call the suspicious activity line at 313-943-3030.
In addition, Dearborn police have a vacation house check program in which residents can call 313-943-2241 for police to periodically check their homes while on vacation.
