Dearborn Football Teams Prepare for Practice
Practice begins Monday for football teams from Dearborn High, Divine Child, Edsel Ford and Fordson.

For Dearborn’s four high school football teams, summer is over.
Sure, 80-degree temperatures and sunny days continue, but for the football teams from Dearborn, Divine Child, Edsel Ford and Fordson, fall has begun.
That’s because football practice for all four teams start Monday as they prepare for season-opening games the weekend of Aug. 26.
Dearborn, Divine Child and Fordson all made the playoffs in 2010, and Edsel Ford finished 4-5.
Dearborn went a perfect 9-0 in the regular season, only to lose to arch-rival Fordson in the first round of the playoffs.
All four teams will aim for better things in 2011.
Here are the schedules for each team, according to the MHSAA.
