For the third weekend in a row, Divine Child High School's boys and girls track teams took home wins from their meets–and this weekend, they also secured their shot at state titles.

Regional competitions were held May 18 in Livonia, and the Falcons earned top honors in a number of individual competitions, winning the Division 2 regional meet overall.

Standout competitors in regionals for DC included Nick Soter and Fred Boyd for boys; Paige Patterson and Michelle Kerr for girls. They, among a slew of other Falcons, will compete for individual state titles at June 2 finals.

Full results from regionals–including outcomes from Edsel Ford, Fordson and Dearborn High's meet–will be available Monday evening on the Michigan High School Athletic Association website.

Individual and team finals for Divine Child will take place June 2 at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids.
