Crime Report: Business Break-In Spree Continues with 6 in One Night

A series of break-ins were reported at local businesses on July 17, according to Dearborn police reports.
Several of the crimes were believed to be related; However, all but two found nothing missing from their shop.
A tripped alarm at 1 a.m. July 17 sent officers to Oil Express on Outer Drive. The lock for the main door was found pried off and on the ground. The owner arrived and told police that nothing appeared to be missing from the store.
Nearby, an alarm went off at H&N Complete Auto Repair on Monroe Street at 2:23 a.m. There, officers found the front door's lock on the ground and the register on the floor. The owner arrived and confirmed that $800 had been stolen.
Officers began checking locks of other businesses in the area and found that Joe and Reno's Pizza on Monroe and Iversen's Bakery on Outer Drive both had their locks broken off. Nothing appeared to be taken from either business.
Then, at 6 a.m. on the same moring, a tripped alarm brought officers to Gold and Jewelry Exchange on North Telegraph Road around 6 a.m. The glass front door had been shattered, and the owner confirmed that at flat-screen TV had been taken.
Lastly, an employee of Rio Wraps and PizzaPapalis arrived at the Michigan Avenue restaurant around 8:30 a.m. July 17 to fid that the locks had been pried off the front door. However, the secondary doors had apparently not been opened, as the alarm was never tripped, and nothing was missing from the restaurant.
