Lane closures on I-94 and the Southfield Freeway will affect Dearborn-area drivers this weekend, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Eastbound I-94 will have two lanes closed from Oakwood to Pelham from 8 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday for ongoing bridge work.

Additionally, eastbound and westbound I-94 will have a single lane closed between Michigan Avenue and I-96 starting at 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday for ongoing bridge work.

On the Southfield Freeway, southbound M-39 from Oakwood to Pinecrest will have only one lane open from 4 a.m. Saturday until 9 p.m. Sunday for bridge work. Additionally, northbound M-39 from Allen to Van Born will have only one lane open during that same time period.
