A little friendly competition never hurts, especially when there’s $100,000 on the line.

2. Click on "Nominate Your House"
3. Log in through your Facebook account
4. Post your best shot of your holiday lights display
5. Don't forget to let your friends and neighbors know to vote for you!

And don’t worry about all those lights racking up the utility bill, because if you’re voted a finalist Patch will give you up to $500 to cover the expense. And if a Dearborn home wins the top prize? Patch will donate $100,000 to Dearborn Public Schools.

Be sure to also check out your neighbors' submissions and vote for them if you think their lights are the best you've seen. And if your display isn't as extravagant as these? That’s OK! We’d still love to have a photo of your house in the gallery so we can show how Dearborn has awesome holiday spirit.
