Four arrests have been made in the suspected murder of a Dearborn man, police announced Monday.

Detroit residents Charles Jackson, 26; Zelda Taylor, 28; Iashia Knox, 28; and Kristen Holmes, 28, were arraigned Monday in Dearborn's 19th District Court on charges of felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

All charges were connected to the murder of 45-year-old Hassan Jaber, who was found dead in his home on the 6200 block of Williamson Street at about 8 p.m. July 15.

Jaber was discovered by his neighbor, and police determined from the scene that the death was likely the result of a homicide.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement that the arrests were the result of a "relentless" investigation by the department.

"Since the start of this investigation, the Dearborn Police Department was committed and our investigators relentless in following leads and evidence that culminated in the arrest of four individuals," Haddad said. "I am extremely proud of the specialized and highly technical effort of the Detective Division."

Haddad also commended the Dearborn and Detroit communities for assisting police in the investigation.

"This case was especially heinous in that the victim was murdered in his own home, a place where we expect to feel safe and secure," he added. "With these arrests, it is our hope that the victim’s family finds peace and closure for their loss."

If the four alleged perpetrators are convicted, the crimes carry up to a life sentence in prison without possibility of parole.

All four were remanded to the Wayne County Jail, having been denied bond. Their next court appearance will be on Aug. 3 at 9 a.m. in the 19th District Court.
