Adopt Pammy Today from the Dearborn Animal Shelter

This pitbull terrier mix is available for adoption immediately.

Pammy is a 1-year-old pit bull terrier mix ready to go home to a new home from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

She already knows many commands, including sit, stay and shake. Her tan spot on her right eye and sweet smile will melt your heart. Pammy did well in her temperament testing, but must go to a home without cats.

To learn more about Pammy, view her Petfinder profile here.

The adoption fee for an adult dog such as Pammy is $140. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, microchip ID, travel box, cat comforter and cat care information. An optional, but recommended, combination feline AIDS and feline leukemia test (for cats 12 weeks and older) is an additional $20.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian. Adopters must register their pet within 20 days of adoption by calling 866-937-PETS, or visiting www.petfirstadoption.com.

To learn more about Pammy, or to see other available adoptable animals, go to the Dearborn Animal Shelter website at www.dearborn-animals.com, call the shelter at 313-943-2697 or visit their location on Greenfield Road, south of Rotunda Drive.
