Ten dollars to park in the park, dollar an hour at meters, and resident parking only on all side streets without meters. Homecoming priced itself out of my social security range. Too bad, it is only the second one I missed in thirty two years. I seem to remember something about when Henry Ford donated the land to the city, He stipulated that no city resident should have to pay to enjoy the park. He didn't know that we would have such a greedy city in the future. Seems that they had very good timing to double the price on the meters that we in West Dearborn didn't want to begin with.
