Longtime Dearborn resident Evelyn E. Speier died Nov. 27 at the age of 91. A native of Detroit, Speier was a 1939 graduate of Fordson High School.

Speier is survived by her daughter, Carole (Douglas Jakubiec) Speier and her son, Fred (Dianna) Speier; her grandchildren, Dr. Cara (Steven) Speier-Schafer and Adam (Christine) Speier; and great-grandchildren Nathan, Aaron, Spencer, Marni, Aiden, Will, Eva and Hailey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, instate at 10 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Dearborn, 600 N. Brady.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or to Henry Ford Hospice.
